Research is focused on the industrial, agricultural and applied microbiolgy, which mainly includes the comprohesive studies of the industrial microbes, metabolic products, enzymes and other functional microbial materials. Current studies are focusing on the analysis of the fundamental processes of microbes in biosynthesis, metabolism and iltrnsformation of relevant compuunds, and the development of novel processes and products for industrial application. The ultimate goal is to improve our innovation abilities in both study and development of industrial microbiology.
